I work with many wonderful clients with many different stories to tell. I’m honored that these women allowed me to share their stories.

“I was referred to Dr. Tracy Shevell after experiencing a traumatic pregnancy loss at 21.5 weeks. I worried if I would ever be able to carry a baby or what my future would hold. Dr. Tracy first and foremost assured me that she would do everything possible to make my dream of having a healthy pregnancy come true. I will never forget her looking into my eyes and saying, ‘you WILL have a healthy baby one day’. Her caring approach to my complicated situation, coupled with her expansive medical experience, went above and beyond my expectations. She helped me gather all the information I needed to set me up for a successful pregnancy. Her medical guidance and support helped me carry my first baby to term. I truly do not know what I would have done before finding Dr. Tracy. She is a guiding light that will help you through any pregnancy challenges you encounter”.

Rebeca is now the mother of three healthy, beautiful girls whose faces light up my social media feed every single day.

Adair

“The fertility journey can be a lonely one. It can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming. There are so many resources out there and so many people with opinions on what you should do, you need someone you can trust. Someone who can talk to you objectively about YOUR journey, YOUR plan. Tracy Shevell is literally the best of the best. I had three incredibly difficult pregnancies and she was there for me every step of the way. Whether it was to advise me, check up on me or simply giggle with me (yes, you need to laugh during this process), she was always there. She was a doctor, she was incredibly knowledgeable, but most importantly, she was my friend. During my journey I needed someone to hear me, and Dr. Tracy did just that. I was given less than a 2% of ever having children and the journey was long. Dr. Tracy is a large part of how I got through it, and now they are here, and I am forever grateful”.

Adair is now the mother of three healthy, vibrant children, ages 13, 12 and 9.

Cindy

“A few weeks after finding out I was pregnant I started experiencing horrible anxiety and panic attacks. It was early in the pregnancy, so I had not even seen my OB yet. I had no idea where to turn for help with mental health during pregnancy, so I went to a psychiatrist my brother knew. The psychiatrist immediately told me to go off my (SSRI) because it was not safe in pregnancy. The anxiety continued to worsen to the point where I could not eat, sleep or take care of my child. My mom called my OB, who referred me to Dr. Tracy Shevell. When I met with Dr. Tracy, everything turned around for me. She made me feel at ease that this could happen in pregnancy, and I was not “crazy”. She was so reassuring and came up with a plan for helping me through this. She found a doctor who understood handling medication in pregnancy and coached me through starting back on my (SSRI) and I was able to get the anxiety under control. I really credit her with saving my life. She was calming, caring and knowledgeable about the steps I should take. I immediately felt cared for and like I could manage this. I cannot think of a better person to be in the role of helping women navigate their fertility and pregnancy needs”.

Cindy is now the mother of two healthy, beautiful children. She continues to be a tireless advocate for maternal mental health and well-being.

Claire

“Dr. Shevell was the most important and best doctor I have ever had. I first met Dr. Shevell 11 years ago when I was pregnant with my twin daughters. The pregnancy was high risk and multiple doctors had recommended Dr. Shevell to me. The care I received from her was unparalleled. I was terrified, for myself and my babies. She took the time to answer every question I had and addressed all my worries. I looked forward to my weekly visits to her, knowing she would do anything to help me and my babies. When she delivered my girls at 34 weeks, we had formed an unbreakable bond. In fact, the care I received from her was so wonderful, I returned to her when I was pregnant with my son 3 years later. I was not high risk with him, but I wanted to best care there was, and that was Dr. Shevell. Dr. Shevell is an incredible woman. She is passionate about what she does, and I am so grateful she is part of my life”.

Claire is now the very busy mother of those amazing kids I was honored to deliver.

Airika

“Finding Dr. Shevell was an absolute game changer for me during my triplet pregnancy. When I found out I was having triplets I was overwhelmed by the all the possible outcomes and underwhelmed by the medical help provided to me. My first appointment with Dr. Shevell changed all of that. She listened, asked questions, saw me rather than a statistic, and most importantly addressed all my concerns with patience and kindness. While in her care, I felt confident that my pregnancy and I were being thought about carefully. Dr. Shevell treated me as a whole patient, inquiring about and making recommendations for my physical and emotional well-being. Despite the complexities of a triplet pregnancy, she informed me at every stage and eased stress with assurance and even humor. I would recommend her to any patient, especially those who are looking for more humanity in their medical care”.
